Large, Golden Brigid Style Hand Labyrinth with Ecoresin

Large, Golden Brigid Style Hand Labyrinth with Ecoresin

Made from maple wood foraged from the Appalachian hills of Western Maryland, this Large labyrinth features our version of Brigid’s Labyrinth in Golden tones. It’s been stained, lightly sanded, and oiled to help preserve the wood. We used an ecoresin fill to help maintain a smooth path. The path will continue to smooth down and develop a patina over time, echoing the story of your meditation practice. Brigid’s Labyrinth, is a spiritual and symbolic structure associated with the Celtic goddess-archetype Brigid. Honoring the classic 4 knots of reed interwoven in her iconography, it typically represents an intentional journey of personal transformation and spiritual growth. Brigid’s Labyrinth might be integrated into spiritual practices, emphasizing its role as a tool for self-discovery. For the more experienced practitioner, Brigid’s Labyrinth serves as a powerful tool for those seeking deeper understanding and connection to themselves and are willing to face their shadowork head on. As a goddess associated with healing, poetry, and craftsmanship, Brigid’s labyrinth may also symbolize creativity, inspiration, and the nurturing of one’s inner gifts. Brigid’s labyrinth is a helpful tool in our path of individuation! Read more about Brigid at MountainMageWellness.com. The Handheld Labyrinth, sometimes called a Finger Labyrinth, is meant to inspire self-reflection. NOTE ON PRODUCTION: Throughout the life of the tree, it may have hosted tiny visitors—bugs that left behind small holes as they made their way through. These unique marks tell a story of the wood’s journey, adding character and history to each sculpture. Rather than detracting from the piece, these natural features enhance its charm, reminding us of the life the tree once lived. Each hole is a testament to the wood’s authenticity, making your sculpture not just an object, but a piece of nature’s narrative. As the wood dries, it undergoes a natural process that can create small cracks on the surface, known as checking. This is completely normal and actually adds character to the piece. Each sculpture becomes a unique work of art, with its own story reflected in these natural features. Rather than being imperfections, these checks enhance the beauty and authenticity of the wood, showcasing the organic journey it has taken. Embracing these natural variations makes each piece truly one of a kind. Wood burning varies in intensity. To showcase this dynamic quality, we’ve included multiple photos taken in various lighting and settings, allowing you to experience the artwork’s true essence. This ever-changing interplay of light and color is part of what makes each piece a living work of art, ensuring that it will continue to surprise and inspire you in different contexts.
